Makoto, who had collapsed when Tokimune took over, suddenly jerked up.
"Tokimune!" he barked, eyes wide. He zipped towards him and pushed the wolf's limp body farther into the jagged stone to give Tokimune room to slide out. It seemed he was pierced as well.
"Are you alright?" he asked, lapping his tongue over the blood on Tokimune's shoulder. He glared at the wolf's corpse and his heart became enraged. Uncalled for, he opened his jaws as wide as he could, and clamped them on the dead wolf's skull.
"BASTARD!!!"
With all his might, he mercilessly tore it open, exposing bone and brain. He spat out the fur and skin from his mouth and swiped his tongue over his chops. "Even in death, they won't get away from my fangs," he whispered coldly.

Amaya looked over at Tokimune and the wolf. She was shocked. She then tried to stand, but the pain in her neck was unbearable. She collapsed and began to pant. She had lost to much blood. The world was spinning. She didn't feel good, and once again, lost consciousness.

Tokimune phased in and out of conciousness for a moment. He was in a state of shock from the pain. He noticed Makoto licking his wound. "Thanks friend." He said wearily. He gathered enough strength to pull his shoulder from the rock. Blood drenched over the floor and wall from both him and the mutilated wolf. He looked over the wound himself. "It didnt pierce any major artiries or anything. I will be ok." He said this as blood dripped from his shoulder and neck.

Aki stumbled slightly as he stood up, shuddering a bit. He turned toward Makoto and gave a dip of the head toward him. "Thanks." He said, turning his attention onto Tokimune. "Are you well enough to travel?" He asked, walking slightly as to limping toward the Kishu. He stumbled forward a bit, but regained his balance for a moment. He gave a soft laugh. "Did I do good?

Makoto nodded.
He licked his ruffled chest fur and padded towards the rabbit he had brought earlier, picking it up and padding back towards the duo.
"Tokimune, you and Aki share this." he dropped it and pawed it forward. "It may be almost noon, but I think we should rest for a bit more." He spun around slowly towards the shadows. "I'm going to go hunting," he said firmly.

Tokimune looked over at Aki, who was walking over. He seemed to be worried. Are you well enough to travel? "Yea, I will be fine. This is just a scratch." He said laughing slightly.
He watched as the pup stumbled a bit. "Did I do good? "What you did was amazing. It would of made your father proud."
He looked over to Makoto, who had passed them a rabbit to eat. "I'm going to go hunting," Be careful, there may be more of them out there." Tokimune then took the rabbit and gave it to Aki. "Here, you will need your strength."

Aki gave a nod to him, sitting beside the dog. He inspected his wound quietly while Makoto approached, dropping the rabbit at they're feet. "Alright Tokimune, but take it easy. He said, giving a small blush at Tokimune's words. He gave a small gasp as Tokimune handed him the rabbit. "Alright." he said, eating a bit of the rabbit as best he could. The meat felt good as he swallowed it. "We should head to the east. More dogs is what we're going to need." He said to Tokimune in a calm tone.

Makoto found a blackbird and slowly stalked it. His black pelt helped him hide in the shadows, but he was forced to cover his white undertones with the tall grass so he wouldn't be easily seen.
Within a few steps, he had killed the bird, and buried it under some leaves to collect later. Afterwards, he continued to hunt...
(Next post I shall return to Aki & Tokimune)

Tokimune stretched. He listened to Aki, "Alright Tokimune, but take it easy "I will." He nodded. He noticed the pup blush slightly. Tokimune smiled.
"We should head to the east. More dogs is what we're going to need." "Right, the more dogs the better off we will be. I will follow you."

Aki gave a slient nod toward the dog as he smiled. He pushed half of what was left of the rabbit for a moment. "Your going to need some." He said, wagging his tail a bit for a moment. "Makoto should lead the way." he said, turning his attention to where the dog had wandered too.

Amaya layed there, bleeding. I have to get up, but this stupid neck of mine, ugh, she thought. She lifted her back legs first, shaking, she lifted her front legs a little. She moved them slowly, and then began to walk a bit faster. Her neck suddenly hurt her. "AHHH!!!" She yelped. She fell back to the ground. "Useless, eheh." she said to herself.

The black dog looked up. "You.....I.....HELP!" she barked. She knew she was in danger with the traitor above her. She looked at the other dogs, depirately barking and barking.
