- Appearance -

Height: 4 feet if standing on hind legs, 2 1/2 feet if on all fours. Roughly the size of Kyoushiro in GDW.
Weight: Quite light, 85lb.

Description: Haru is a cream-brown Nin-ken with emerald-green eyes. She has darker flecks, the same hue being on her tail-tip, ears, eyebrows, arms, and legs as well. Her light-cream tuft extends from her forehead to her nape, and the same hue is seen on her maw, her underbelly, and her paw-tips. She has a cape-like accessory which has a yellow ring on the side for holding shuriken - a weapon of hers. Haru is slender and lithe, making her quick and stealthy.

Other Information: Haru is the daughter of the Koga Nin-ken Tesshin, but when she learned that he left the clan for Ohu, she was angered with her father, and joined Ashi.

- Personality -

Summary: This chick is SUPER stubborn around dogs of the same rank as her. She's one of those tough, 'don't-mess-with-me' girls. However, Haru knows her place, and is very loyal to her leader, and protective with her comrades. She fights with pride, and never backs down from a challenge. Even if she was faced with a hundred soldiers alone, she knows what her assignment is and bravely battles til' the end - just like a true ninja dog. She has an odd hatred towards her father, Tesshin, for leaving her Clan before she was born and living in Ohu. When she grew, she refused to become the Koga Nin-ken leader, leaving her best friend, a wolf-hybrid Koga Nin-ken, Rinja, to become Leader.

Physical: Haru is ferocious when needed, and likes using force instead of words. She's tough, and prefers to taste blood instead of give mercy at times. She is fearless to taking down an enemy. She would be inhesitant if her leader asked her to kill a fellow pack member. With powerful legs for jumping, she is one of the best hunters to go after birds, but aside from that, she is quite a skilled hunter. Because she's agile, she's quite fast -- almost as fast as an Iga Nin-ken. Her limbs are sturdy and lithe as well, but strong.

Mental: She's sharp-witted and sharp-tongued. Haru can tell off anyone who sets her off, which shows she can take care of herself. She has a hatred towards her father, because he had left her Clan even before she was born. Because of this, she was left semi-cold-hearted, with a stubborn mind. Despite all this, she is loyal to her leader's opinons, and obidient to follow them - most of the time. There are some instances where she would disobey, just to follow her own gut. Putting all these morals together, she is quite a valuable dog to have in any pack or army.

Social: Haru enjoys giving advice to others, even if that 'advice' may be plans of evil. She's just eager to make her leader happy, and mostly friendly to her comrades. However, she puts business before friendships, and makes sure not to get too close to a lot of dogs, just in case they may turn and she would be forced to hurt them. She has one best friend, Rinja, and is very loyal to her and their leader, Ashi.

Strengths: Speed is her main trait. Although Koga Nin-ken are known for their strength, she specializes in agility, like the Iga Nin-ken. She's quick-thinking and smart, knowing when and when not to show yourself to the enemy. She's also proud and fearless, and would not hesitate to die for her leader if needed. Naturally, she also has the Nin-ken ability to jump high onto branches, and leap from tree-to-tree without hesitation. She has keen senses, and bird-like vision.

Weaknesses: Haru is too reckless. Even if she knows she is outnumbered and can't win, instead of retreating, her pride gets the best of her and she fights and fights. Stubborn as well, she argues quite a lot. And although she is loyal to the leader's opinions, there are times when she thinks otherwise, and follows her gut. This is the confusing trait of Haru. She seems loyal, as if she would die for her leader as a true soldier, and yet sometimes, she disobeys orders, to do what she thinks is right.

- Other Information -

History: She was born in the Koga Village, in Nin-ken Territory, as the daughter of Tesshin. She was the only one who survived during the season they were born in, which was winter, and made it to the season of Spring. Ironically enough, she was named 'Haru', which translates to 'Spring'. As a pup, she heard stories about her father leaving the Clan to join the Ohu force, and only came back to visit the Koga Clan every once in a while. Irritated by how her father just left, she refused to take over as Koga Nin-ken Leader, giving the position to her best friend, a wolf-hybrid Koga dog named Rinja. Soon, they both joined Ashi against the Ohu force.

Relations: Daughter of Tesshin.

Fighting Techniques: She is able to use the two shuriken she has ringed to her cape to attack. If she is unable to use that far-ranged attack, she bites the enemy's neck, and instead of clamping on, she pulls away, as if attempting to dislodge her foe's spine. This attack of hers can only be used in a close range, and is called 'Ira Takai', translating as 'Spine Death'.
